Weekly we are told by our veterans how much it means to them to see fresh flowers.
It truly is a wonderful feeling to mention to our men and women veterans, The Garden Club of New Jersey sponsors, the Garden Therapy Program with the monetary support from the Garden Clubs of New Jersey. Currently, funds and weekly volunteers are needed, to bring smiles and a cheery hello to the program.
Garden clubs are invited to participate or visit the Garden Therapy Program at the Department of Veterans Affairs New Jersey Health Care System. The program meets weekly, Fridays 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Plans have been made to enhance the Campus with seasonal floral arrangements, which are well received by our Veterans, family and staff. Plastic containers and monetary donations are needed.
